Shipped 2026-03-13 · AI Naming things mid-experiment is a small tax that adds up. Bower now does it for you — for every note you capture and every attachment you upload.

What’s new

  • Note titles — when you finish a voice capture or generate a note from a photo, Bower reads the content and proposes a concise, descriptive title. You can edit it any time; the generated title is just a starting point.
  • Attachment descriptions — uploaded files (PDFs, images, spreadsheets, documents) get an AI-generated short description so they’re searchable by meaning, not just filename. The description appears in the artifact card and feeds Bower’s semantic search.

How it works

Title and description generation happen in the background after capture completes — they never delay your save. If a generation fails, the artifact falls back to “Untitled note” or the original filename, and you can edit freely.
