Shipped 2026-04-08 · Workspace Hard deletes are stressful. You’ve all done that thing where you delete the wrong note, and it takes a second for your stomach to drop. Trash fixes that — every delete is now recoverable.

What’s new

  • Soft delete — deleting an artifact moves it to the trash rather than removing it. The artifact disappears from your workspace immediately, but it’s recoverable.
  • Trash page — a dedicated view in the sidebar lists deleted artifacts with the date deleted and the person who did it.
  • One-click restore — restore a single artifact, or use the floating toolbar to restore many at once.
  • Undo toast — right after a delete, a toast appears with an Undo button. One click and the deletion is reversed without a trip to the trash.
  • Scheduled purge — items older than 30 days are permanently removed by a background job, so trash doesn’t grow forever.

Why this matters

Soft deletes change the cost of cleanup. You can confidently tidy a noisy collection knowing nothing is gone forever within the recovery window.
