2026-10-31 · Trust & compliance The audit log recorded every change, but nothing showed that the record itself had not been changed. Now it does.

What’s new

  • Hash chain. Each new event is sealed into a chain, so editing, deleting, or reordering a sealed event breaks the chain.
  • Daily check. The audit log page shows Audit trail verified once Bower has checked your workspace’s chain, or Audit trail check failed if it found a mismatch.
  • Fuller CSV export. Each row now carries its chain position and hash, plus the person’s and the record’s IDs, so you can follow one record or one member across renames.
  • Deleted accounts keep their history. When someone deletes their account, their events stay in the log with their identity removed, instead of being deleted.
See Audit logs for the details.
