Your feedback directly shapes what we build next. Whether something isn’t working, could work better, or is working well — we want to hear it.

How to leave feedback

There are two ways:
  • Settings popover — click your avatar in the bottom-left corner, then select Give feedback.
  • Account settings — go to Settings > Account and use the feedback option there.
Both open the same feedback form. Tell us what’s on your mind — bug reports, feature requests, workflow suggestions, or anything else.

Feedback on AI quality

Beyond the general feedback form, you can rate AI outputs directly in the app. These ratings are especially valuable because they help us improve the models and processing pipelines for scientific content.
  • Voice transcription and photo text extraction — after Bower processes a capture, you can rate the quality of the output. Both positive and negative ratings are useful. A thumbs up tells us the model handled your terminology well. A thumbs down — especially on a specific misread value or missed word — helps us tune accuracy for scientific vocabulary.
  • Bird chat — every Bird response has thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. Rating responses helps us understand where Bird is helpful and where it falls short for your type of research.
You don’t need to rate everything. But when you do, it makes a difference.
