Bower on mobile - Bower Help Center

Bower works on your phone the same way it works on your desktop — it’s the same web app at app.bowerlabs.ai, tuned for a small screen and one-handed use. Everything syncs in real time, so a note you capture on your phone is on your desktop within seconds. On mobile, Bower gives you a persistent bottom navigation bar with four tabs:

Tab	What it’s for
Capture	The Quick Capture page — record voice, take a photo, shoot a video, or type a note. See Mobile capture.
Bird	Chat with your AI assistant — ask questions across your workspace, hands-free or typed.
Workspace	Browse, search, and open everything — notes, collections, protocols, and attachments. Search runs full-text and semantically as you type.
Settings	Your account, profile, and preferences.

When you start a voice or video recording, the navigation bar and header step out of the way for a full-screen capture view, then reappear when you’re done.

Signing in on your phone

You sign up on desktop, but you can get signed in on your phone in seconds. The onboarding checklist shows a QR code — scan it with your phone’s camera and a secure, single-use magic link signs you straight in. No password retyping, and it works for enterprise SSO accounts.

Install it to your home screen

Add Bower to your home screen and it launches full-screen with its own icon, like a native app — including a long-press shortcut straight to Quick Capture. See Add Bower to your home screen.
