Bower is a web app — you access it at app.bowerlabs.ai in your browser. No app store download needed. But you can add it to your home screen so it launches like a native app, with its own icon and full-screen experience.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

Open Bower in Safari

Go to app.bowerlabs.ai in Safari. This won’t work from Chrome or other browsers on iOS — Apple requires Safari for home screen apps.

Tap the share button

Tap the share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.

Tap Add to Home Screen

Scroll down in the share menu and tap Add to Home Screen.

Tap Add

The name defaults to “Bower.” Tap Add to confirm.
Bower now appears on your home screen. When you open it, it runs full-screen without the browser address bar.

Android (Chrome)

Open Bower in Chrome

Go to app.bowerlabs.ai in Chrome.

Tap the menu

Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

Tap Install app or Add to Home screen

Chrome may show Install app (if it detects the PWA) or Add to Home screen. Either works.

Confirm

Tap Install or Add.

What you get

Once installed, Bower on your home screen:
  • Opens full-screen without browser chrome
  • Has its own app icon and splash screen
  • Includes a Quick Capture shortcut — long-press the Bower icon to jump straight to voice or photo capture
  • Stays logged in between sessions
  • Works on your current workspace, just like the browser version
Everything syncs in real time. Notes captured from your home screen app appear on your desktop immediately.
