# Cmd+K now takes you anywhere — and hands off to Bird

> The command palette grows beyond search: jump to any page or setting, get a promoted Top result, and press Tab to hand your query straight to Bird.

**Rolling out from 2026-07-25 · Search**

**Cmd+K** (or **Ctrl+K** on Windows) has always searched your workspace. Now it does much more from the same keystroke — get anywhere, open any setting, and hand a question to Bird without leaving the keyboard.

## What's new

* **Top result** — type an exact match like `trash` or `billing` and it's promoted to the top and pre-selected. Press **Enter** to go straight there.
* **Go to** — jump to your Dashboard, Collections, Protocols, Equipment, the Knowledge Graph, Trash, Audit logs, and more. You only ever see the places you have access to.
* **Settings** — open Profile, Security, Preferences, Connectors, Members, or Billing by name.
* **Ask Bird** — press **Tab** (or choose the pinned **Ask Bird** row) to hand whatever you've typed straight to Bird, ready to send — for when you want an answer, not just a link.

Search itself is unchanged — the same [hybrid keyword + semantic ranking](/ai-and-search/hybrid-search), now sitting alongside everything else.

## Try it

Press **Cmd+K** from any page and start typing. Results appear as you type; press **Tab** at any point to ask Bird instead.
