# Personalisation and memory on every plan

> Personal preferences, private learned memories, and workspace instructions are now available on every Bower plan.

Bird can now personalise its help on every Bower plan. Set the preferences you
want Bird to follow, let it retain useful, durable details from your
conversations, and keep shared lab guidance in one place.

## What's new

* **Personal preferences** are the details you write directly for Bird, such
  as your role, preferred response style, or formatting conventions.
* **What Bird remembers** is a private list of learned memories. Bird may save
  a useful, durable detail after it processes a conversation turn and applies a
  memory change, then confirms it inline in the chat. You can view, edit, or
  delete these memories in **Settings → Preferences**.
* **Workspace instructions** keep shared lab conventions and standing guidance
  available to everyone in a workspace.

Learned memories stay private to you. Capture runs in the background, so it
should not affect how quickly Bird responds.
