# Audit log redesigned as a timeline

> A clean activity timeline with multi-select filters, search, login deduplication, and richer event details — see exactly who did what, when.

The audit log is the source of truth for "who did what to which artifact."
We've rebuilt it as a chronological timeline that reads cleanly without
losing any of the underlying detail.

## What's new

* **Timeline layout** — a chronological feed grouped by day, with each
  event showing actor, action, and target.
* **Multi-select filters** — filter by user, action type, entity type, and
  date range, with chip-based selections that combine cleanly.
* **Search** — full-text search across all events and metadata, useful
  when you remember an artifact name but not the date.
* **Login deduplication** — repeated logins from the same session no
  longer flood the timeline; they collapse into a single rolled-up event.
* **Richer event details** — for state-changing events (create, update,
  delete), the changed fields and their old/new values are shown inline
  for workspace members to review.
* **Cursor pagination + export** — fast scrolling through long histories
  and full CSV export for compliance archives.

## Try it

Open the **Audit log** entry in your sidebar (or **Settings → Trust →
Audit logs** depending on your role).
