# Bower names your work for you

> Auto-generated titles for notes and descriptions for attachments — so you don't stop mid-capture to think of a name.

**Shipped 2026-03-13 · AI**

Naming things mid-experiment is a small tax that adds up. Bower now does it
for you — for every note you capture and every attachment you upload.

## What's new

* **Note titles** — when you finish a voice capture or generate a note from
a photo, Bower reads the content and proposes a concise, descriptive title.
You can edit it any time; the generated title is just a starting point.
* **Attachment descriptions** — uploaded files (PDFs, images, spreadsheets,
documents) get an AI-generated short description so they're searchable by
meaning, not just filename. The description appears in the artifact card
  and feeds Bower's semantic search.

## How it works

Title and description generation happen in the background after capture
completes — they never delay your save. If a generation fails, the artifact
falls back to "Untitled note" or the original filename, and you can edit
freely.
